Invitation to participate in survey about reading compliance in post-secondary education

Dear colleagues:

I would like to invite you to participate in a short survey about reading compliance and implicit models of reading. The aim of the survey is to gather information about how students read required texts and how instructors try to make them read. The information gathered will contribute to a study about reading compliance and models of reading; I hope to identify best practices to improve reading in post-secondary classes.

The survey should take around 20 minutes to complete. The answers are anonymous; at the end of this survey, I ask if you would be interested in participating in a follow up interview. In any dissemination, I will ensure that you cannot be identified by the information provided. All questions have been reviewed and approved by the Mount Royal University Human Research Ethics Board. If you have any questions concerning your rights as a possible participant in this research, please contact the Research Compliance officer at Mount Royal University,

Completion and submission of the survey implies that consent has been given. If you would like to participate, please complete the survey on TooFast by June 15, 2016. TooFast is a not-for-profit anonymous survey provider, housed on a Canadian server. Your personal information would not be harvested for commercial purposes.
